A first of its kind PETA Asia investigation reveals that badgers are abused and killed for their hair on Chinese farms in the production of makeup, shaving, and paint brushes that are exported worldwide. On every farm visited, investigators documented hellish conditions, including confinement to cramped wire cages and severe, untreated injuries. PETA is calling on companies to drop badger-hair brushes and on consumers to buy only synthetic, animal-free brushes.
