In this video we gonna see few tips and steps for making soft and spongy Idli Batter. Do Follow all the steps and make softest idlis and Dosas.

Ingredients:
Idli Rice 4 Cups
Whole urad Dal 1Cup
Flattened Rice 1/4th cup
Sago 1/4 th cup
Fenugreek Seeds 1 Tbsp

Tips:
Never throw water used for soaking rice and dal. use while grinding.
Wash the rice and dal atleast 3 times before soaking.
Soak rice for atleast 4-6 hrs, Dal 4 hrs.
Grind Urad Dal First to get fluffy Batter.
while grinding Urad Dal,Use Ice cubes instead of water to avoid overheating.
Do not grind Rice batter smoothly,be it semi smooth.
Use rocksalt than Iodized salt.
Always use your hand to mix batter before fermentation. The good bacteria in your hand will help better fermentation.
Use Steel or glassware for fermentation.
The consistency of the batter should’nt be too thick ot thin.
