Long before fans could sign up for the WWE Network and have the whole WWF / WWE video library at the touch of a button, and even before YouTube became a go-to website for quality wrestling clips, fans had to rely on tapes. As the internet came into more and more homes across the world, fans were able to get more WWF action but streaming quality video was still a long way away. PC CD-Roms were created to cash in, and one of these CD-Roms that got officially licensed by the WWF was the “WWF EncycRAWpedia”. The disc was developed in 1999 and released in 2000, and looking through the contents of the WWF EncycRAWpedia is like hoping in a time machine (both from a content and technical point of view).

To get this disc to work, I had to go on a legit adventure into the past but I managed to get it in a semi-working state. This video looks into the WWF EncycRAWpedia and all the hoops I had to jump through to get the thing to operate! Signing up to the WWE Network is an infinitely easier task, and this video will portray why we shouldn’t take technology for granted!
