Many of you with pets will already know there are festive treats you can make or buy as well as festive toys.

But on a broader scale, you might also like to consider those animals that don’t have the warmth and love of a human family this year. And while we don’t suggest you give one as a present, you could look into adopting one yourself, even virtually. Or failing that, you could visit your local shelter and provide them with blankets, attention, and a gift to unwrap.

Then, of course, there are animals which can’t and shouldn’t be kept as pets, though may appreciate some food and some warmth when they come into your garden. We have suggestions for all these things in the text version of this post.

So, please, consider our animal friends, and always remember: it’s not about surviving Christmas, it’s about #athrivingchristmas

I’ll see you soon.

We also realise that while this 1-minute video series is helping many of you to have a merrier and eminently more fulfilling Christmas than you may otherwise have had, there are many others of you, especially those for whom the breakup is fresh or the pain is deep-rooted, who have not yet reached the stage where you feel like doing the things we’re suggesting.

To help you understand your feelings and to take that next step from whatever position you find yourself, you’ll find a wealth of FREE information on our website: https://www.thebreakupplan.com/posts/

But please know that you have far from been forgotten.
